Hello everyone! A lot is happening in the music scene. First off, I’m so pleased to share that production of my new album has begun. If you listen closely, you just might hear the rhythm in the wind as the drum tracks are going down at this very moment. Stay tuned for more details while the creative process continues.

Friday, May 5, 5:45’ish – 8:00’ish. Solo in Niwot for the First Friday Art Walk at Inkberry Book Store in Niwot Square. Inkberry is a wonderful listening space. Stop by and listen to the new tunes. Vote on the 11th song for the new album.
Friday, June 2, 7:00 – 9:30, VMAP showcase. A heart-felt evening with some of my favorite people (and singer-songwriters) in the world. We take the stage at the Center for Musical Arts – 200 E. Baseline Road, Lafayette, CO. In addition to sharing new songs of my own, I’m rockin’ the electric bass during one set. This evening is hosted by nationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter, Rebecca Folsom. Tickets are available at Brown Paper Tickets (https://vocalmastery.bpt.me).
Thursday, June 22, Comfy Couch Performance Circle. Longmont Public Media, 457 4th Avenue in Longmont. Karen circles up around the comfy couch for an intimate evening of sharing with singer-songwriters and spoken word performers. Doors open at 6:00 and show begins at 6:30. Join us around the comfy couch or via the Live Steam. Admission is free, although donations are much appreciated to keep this wonderful, intimate venue happening.

Thursday, July 29, 5 - 7pm at The Niwot Tavern. (7960 Niwot Road, Niwot, CO 80503). My good buddy Jonathan Bennett and I will be swapping songs and stories outside the Tavern. Special guest, Leann Roberts, will join in with some beautiful harmonies. The Niwot Tavern's outside venue has been a haven for live music throughout the pandemic. Stop on by, grab some dinner and drinks, and enjoy our song share.
Friday, August 13, 6:30 - 7:15pm at the Boulder International Fringe Festival: Deano's Musical Monster Mash, at Boulder Elks Lodge(3528 28th Street, Boulder, CO, 80302). Stop by for my solo set and stay to enjoy musical stylings of other local singer/songwriters.
While the pause continues due to Covid, we are carefully returning to a few social-distanced events. Here’s one for August in Niwot, Colorado.
